Ingredients

Units Scale

Liquid

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

Dairy

  • 5.3 ounces nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt

Fruits

  • 1 medium frozen banana (about 3 oz/91g)
  • 4-5 frozen sliced strawberries (about 2.5 oz/70g)
  • 4-5 apple slices (about 2.5 oz/76g)

Optional

  • Sweetener of choice (honey, agave, or stevia), optional
  • Protein powder, optional

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: Place almond milk (or your preferred liquid) in the bottom of the blender, then add the Greek yogurt and frozen fruit including banana, strawberries, and apple slices.
  2. Blend Smooth: Blend all the ingredients until smooth and creamy, ensuring that all frozen fruit is fully blended.
  3. Serve and Store: Pour the smoothie into a glass and serve immediately. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

Notes

  • Freeze banana and strawberries about 2 hours before blending if not already frozen.
  • Substitute any nondairy milk, nonfat milk, water, or apple juice for almond milk.
  • Use any flavor or fat content yogurt including plain or regular yogurt instead of Greek yogurt.
  • Use your favorite apple variety; Fuji or Gala work well.
  • Add sweetener such as honey, agave, or stevia if you prefer a sweeter smoothie.
  • Add a scoop of protein powder to increase protein content.
