Shake Ingredients
- 4 cups vanilla ice cream
- 2 cups milk
- 3/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 3-4 drops green food coloring
Garnish
- Whipped cream for garnish
- Cherry for garnish
- Honey for glass rim
- Green sanding sugar for glass rim
Instructions
- Prepare the Glass: If you want to decorate your glass, pour some honey onto a plate and green sanding sugar onto another plate. Dip the rim of the glass into the honey, then immediately into the green sugar to create a decorative rim. Set the glass aside.
- Blend the Shake: Add the vanilla ice cream, milk, peppermint extract, and green food coloring into a blender. Blend all ingredients until smooth and evenly combined.
- Serve and Garnish: Pour the milkshake mixture into the prepared glasses. Top each milkshake with whipped cream and place a cherry on top for garnish.
Notes
- Taste test the shake before pouring to adjust the peppermint extract carefully, as it is a strong flavor. Start with 1/4 teaspoon and increase if desired.
- Add green food coloring gradually to achieve your preferred shade; regular food coloring works best, while gel requires less.
- For a lighter version without ice cream, use 2 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk, one 3.4-ounce box of vanilla pudding mix, 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract, 3 drops green food coloring, and 2-3 cups ice. Blend until smooth.
