Description

This Lemon Pie Milkshake is a creamy, tangy treat that combines vanilla ice cream with instant lemon pudding mix and crushed Golden Oreos. Frosted with vanilla buttercream and topped with whipped cream, this refreshing milkshake is perfect for a quick dessert or snack.

Ingredients

Units Scale

Milkshake

  • 1 1/2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 3 tablespoons instant lemon pudding mix
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 Golden Oreos

For the Glass

  • Vanilla buttercream frosting (for frosting the glass)
  • 2 Golden Oreos, crushed (for coating the glass)

Topping

  • Whipped cream
  • 1 Golden Oreo (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Glass: Frost the outside of your serving glass with vanilla buttercream frosting. Crush 2 Golden Oreos finely and roll or dip the frosted glass into the crushed cookies to coat the exterior evenly. Set aside.
  2. Blend the Milkshake: In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream, instant lemon pudding mix, and milk. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy with no lumps.
  3. Pour and Serve: Pour the blended milkshake carefully into the prepared glass. Top with a generous swirl of whipped cream and garnish with one whole Golden Oreo placed on top.

Notes

  • For an extra lemony flavor, add a few drops of lemon extract to the milkshake mixture before blending.
  • If you can’t find lemon pudding mix, substitute with vanilla pudding mix and add lemon extract to achieve similar flavor.
  • You can use any type of milk you prefer, including regular dairy or nondairy alternatives like almond or oat milk.
  • Feel free to swap vanilla ice cream with frozen yogurt or any preferred ice cream flavor for different tastes.
  • Any type of cookie works well for coating the glass; shortbread cookies are especially good for this purpose.
