Instructions
- Prepare the dressing: In a medium bowl, combine 3/4 cup mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar, 1 teaspoon minced garlic, 1/8 cup grated Parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon dried oregano, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper, and 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes if using. Stir well until all ingredients are fully incorporated and smooth.
- Combine salad ingredients: Add 1/4 cup sliced red onion, 1/2 cup pepperoncini, 1 cup diced tomato, 1/2 cup diced provolone cheese, 1/2 cup chopped salami, and 1/2 cup chopped deli turkey into the bowl with the dressing. Mix these ingredients gently to coat them evenly with the dressing.
- Add lettuce and toss: Top the mixture with 1 head chopped iceberg lettuce. Toss everything together thoroughly to ensure the lettuce is well coated with the dressing and all ingredients are evenly distributed. Serve immediately for best freshness.
