Main Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
- 3 cups beef broth
- 2 cups milk (or heavy cream for extra richness)
- 12 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or fettuccine)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Beef & Garlic: Heat olive oil in a large deep skillet or pot over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook for 5-6 minutes, breaking it up until browned. Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add Liquid & Pasta: Pour in beef broth and milk. Stir well. Add pasta and Italian seasoning, making sure the pasta is mostly submerged. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until the pasta is tender.
- Make it Creamy: Reduce heat to low and stir in parmesan cheese and butter until melted and creamy. Adjust seasoning if needed. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of milk or broth.
- Serve & Enjoy: Garnish with fresh parsley and extra parmesan. Serve hot with garlic bread or a side salad!
Notes
- Make it extra creamy by swapping milk for heavy cream.
- For more flavor, add mushrooms or spinach before simmering the pasta.
- Storage: Keeps well in the fridge for 3 days; reheat with a splash of milk to loosen the sauce.
